retrocamper.ie is an Irish editorial website about classic campervans and retro VW conversions. We are based in Ireland and subject to Irish and EU data protection law, including GDPR.

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message content when you use our contact form. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry.
  • Newsletter signups: email address only. Used to send the retrocamper.ie newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analytics data: we use self-hosted Matomo analytics to understand how our content is used. Matomo collects anonymised usage data (pages viewed, time on site, approximate geography). We do not share this data with third parties. Matomo is hosted on servers in Ireland.

  • Contact form data is used only to reply to your message. We do not add contact form submitters to mailing lists without explicit consent.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 24 months.

Your rights

Third parties
